SAT Seat Availability Alerts Explained
How SAT seat-open alerts work, what web push requires (including iOS), and how season-pass email alerts differ from free push.
Web push for everyone
Free and paid users can enable browser push notifications. After you sign in, open Settings and allow notifications. You’ll be alerted when a watched center opens.
Email alerts on the season pass
A $9.99 season pass (180 days) adds email alerts on top of push, unlimited watches, and the faster refresh display. It’s a one-time purchase for a registration season — not a lifetime subscription.
What an alert means
An alert means our latest check saw an open seat signal for that center and date. It is not a hold. Complete registration on College Board as soon as you can.
FAQ
Do alerts work on iPhone?
Yes on iOS 16.4+ if you add SAT Site Finder to your Home Screen (installed PWA) and allow notifications. Safari desktop and Chrome/Firefox on Android support web push more directly.
How fast are the alerts?
Our poller checks College Board availability on a short interval. When a watched center changes from unavailable to available, we enqueue a notification. You should still register immediately — seats can close again.
