College Board’s test-center search is organized around a zip code and a specific SAT date. Start with your home zip, then try nearby zips if local sites are full — distance sorting means a different zip can surface different centers.

Why do SAT test centers show as full?
Each center has a capacity for a given test date. Once registrations fill that capacity, College Board marks the site unavailable until a seat is released (for example after a cancellation).
